Holy Name of Mary School is a wonderful oasis of faith, knowledge and service located in Valley Stream. At HNM, we nurture the seeds of faith planted by our parents at Baptism with daily prayer, monthly school liturgies, and seasonal prayer services. Our children grow in ministry for one another and for the larger community. We offer a school choir and hand bell choir which belong to Pueri Cantores, an international student choral organization of the Catholic Church, and have participated in festivals in New York and Washington, D.C. for six years. We strive for academic excellence always and challenge our students with spelling and math bees, science and social studies fairs, and an oratorical contest. We celebrate the arts with an art show, band concerts and an annual school musical. We also offer many after school sports programs.
