Aside from Mr. Giorlando’s teaching responsibilities, he is a committed STORM (St. Oscar Romero Mission) Coordinator who draws inspiration from the courageous witness of St. Oscar Romero of El Salvador. The STORM program is built on the three pillars of spirituality, scholarship, and service that defined St. Oscar’s life and mission. He also leads weekly parish/school Masses at Ss. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church. Mr. Giorlando is passionate about helping his students strengthen their faith and guiding them to discover their place within the church.

Mr. Giorlando is a creative and engaging teacher who uses live-action Bible retellings in his class to bring the scriptures to life for his students. By having his students act out various parts of the stories, he is able to provide a more immersive and interactive experience, helping them to gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of the lessons that can be learned from the Bible.
