Teacher Spotlight: Meet Mrs. Cindy Schiraldi! 🍎💡

May 23, 2023 by Catholic Elementary Schools of Long Island Blog News & Updates Teacher Spotlight

We are excited to shine a spotlight on the remarkable Mrs. Cindy Schiraldi, a teacher at Holy Family School in Hicksville. She holds a BS in Elementary Education and an MS in Reading k-12 from Adelphi University. Furthermore, she earned a teaching certificate in Elementary Education K-6, as well as Reading K-12.

Mrs. Schiraldi teaches 3rd grade at Holy Family School, but she has also taught grades K, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th during her 28 years of experience. In addition to her teaching role, she contributes to the school’s Leadership Committee, Arts & Crafts Club, and Saint of the Month Committee!

Mrs. Schiraldi embraces her role as a Catholic Educator, striving to nurture every facet of a child’s development: intellectually, spiritually, emotionally, and physically. She holds a deep respect for each student, recognizing their inherent identity as a child of God. Personally, she is committed to fostering her own spirituality and faith. And above all, her ultimate goal is to make a lasting impact, one child at a time.

Outside of her role as an educator, Mrs. Schiraldi is a devoted mother to four wonderful kids. Her oldest daughter attends Marist College, where she dances. She has twin daughters who are 16 and compete in cheerleading, and a 14-year-old son who plays baseball, basketball, volleyball, and football. Mrs. Schiraldi enjoys watching her children participate in sports, where she cheers them on with unwavering pride!

A heartfelt thank you to Mrs. Schiraldi for her invaluable contributions to our Long Island schools. We appreciate her dedication and wish her continued success in shaping the lives of young children!
