We are delighted to cast a well-deserved spotlight on the remarkable Mrs. Marian Buckley! Mrs. Buckley is an experienced educator with a passion for teaching young children. She currently teaches at Holy Family School in Hicksville, NY, where she specializes in Pre-K education. With 26 years of teaching experience, Mrs. Buckley is well-equipped to provide a nurturing and engaging learning environment for her students. In addition to her expertise in elementary education for grades N-6, she also holds a specialization in Early Childhood Education for grades N-3.
We are pleased to shine a spotlight on Mrs. Nicole Hartmann, an alumna who is currently serving as a Pre-K teacher at St. Patrick School in Smithtown! Mrs. Nicole Hartmann began her education at St. Patrick School, where she attended from kindergarten through eighth grade. She continued her Catholic studies in high school at St. John the Baptist DHS. Afterward, she graduated from Dowling College and obtained her NYS Teacher Certification in childhood and special education.
We are thrilled to highlight Mrs. Fran Barricelli, an exceptional teacher at St. Agnes Cathedral School in Rockville. Mrs. Barricelli’s educational journey began with a strong foundation in Catholic education at St. Robert Elementary School and St. Francis Prep High School. She graduated from Queens College and holds a permanent NYS Teaching certificate.
We are excited to shine a spotlight on the remarkable Mrs. Cindy Schiraldi, a teacher at Holy Family School in Hicksville. She holds a BS in Elementary Education and an MS in Reading k-12 from Adelphi University. Furthermore, she earned a teaching certificate in Elementary Education K-6, as well as Reading K-12.
We are thrilled to shine a spotlight on Ms. Regina Parlapiano! She’s a dedicated K-3 AIS teacher at St. Patrick’s School in Smithtown. With an impressive 15 years at St. Patrick’s, Ms. Parlapiano brings a wealth of experience to her role. Beyond the classroom, Ms. Parlapiano takes on additional responsibilities such as leading the Child Study Team, and being actively involved in guiding both the Student Council and the National Junior Honor Society.
This week, we are honored to shine the Teacher Spotlight on Mrs. Christi Abbate. Mrs. Abbate currently teaches third grade at St. William the Abbot in Seaford. She holds a BA in Environmental Planning from SUNY Binghamton University and has earned an MA in General Education and Special Education in Grades 1-6 from Turo University, New York City.
We are excited to shine a spotlight on Ms. Elizabeth King! Ms. King attended Saint Mary’s Elementary School and Saint Mary’s High School in Manhasset. She holds a BA in Elementary Education and a masters in Nursery-6 Education from SUNY Cortland and Adelphi University.
This week’s “Teacher Spotlight” is Mr. Salvatore Giolando, he is a fun and dedicated Religion teacher for 6th-8th graders at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic School in Deer Park!

With her experience in education spanning nearly two decades, Jennifer has had an impact on the lives of countless students throughout her career.
We are shining the teacher spotlight on yet another one of our amazing teachers. Meet Mrs. Lauren LeMieux, a 4th and 5th grade teacher at Trinity Regional School in East Northport of 13 years! Mrs. LeMieux is an alumna of St. Anthony High School, and a highly qualified teacher with a big heart for service and dedication to her community.
We are thrilled to put the spotlight on Mr. Timothy Tamney this week! He is an outstanding educator who has been teaching at St. Mary’s School in East Islip for 26 years. With a degree in Education from St. John’s University, Mr. Tamney brings passion and experience to the classroom where he teaches Social Studies for 7th and 8th graders and 8th grade Religion.
